The Making Career Of Sachin Tendulkar

Tendulkar played his debut Test match against Pakistan at the age of 16 in Karachi in 1989. He scored 15 runs in that match before being bowled by Waqar Younis’ bowling, though he was hit in the body by Pakistani bowling during the innings.

He recovered to take his team’s innings forward. In the final match of the Sialkot Test, he was hit on the nose by a bouncer and had to get his nose translated From the given text, it appears to be a cricket match where Lohi was injured and unable to continue playing. However, the squad continued to play without him, and Indian captain Chris Shrikant lauded their performance as the greatest so far. Tendulkar scored 53 runs off 18 balls in the contest, including a 28-run over that is considered the best in its class. Sachin has succeeded in test matches, scoring 35.83 runs each innings and getting bowled once only in one-day internationals.

Despite scoring 0 runs in one two-day match and 36 runs in the other, a batsman scored 117 runs at an average of 29.25 in New Zealand’s second test match against England. Following that, he became the second-youngest batter in history to score 119* runs at Old Trafford during the 1990 England tour. Wisden described it as “an anticipated mature performance”. It was written that Tendulkar developed further during the 1991-92 Australia tour when he scored a brilliant 148 on the bouncy pitch at Sydney. At that time, Merv Hughes had said that this young boy will score more runs than him.

During 1994-1999, Sachin Tendulkar rapidly developed along with his physical development. In 1994, on the occasion of the Hindu festival Holi, Tendulkar was asked to start the innings against New Zealand in Auckland. He scored 82 runs off just 49 balls. He then marked his first century in One Day Internationals against Australia on September 9, 1994, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He went on to score 79 centuries in ODI matches and achieved the status of being one of the best batsmen in cricket history. In 1996, during a match against Pakistan in Sharjah, Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin was struggling. Sachin Tendulkar and Navjot Singh Sidhu contributed to a century partnership for the second wicket. After being dismissed, Tendulkar commented on Azharuddin’s poor form with the bat. Tendulkar encouraged Azharuddin to continue batting and he managed to score 29 runs off just 10 balls.

. For the first time in his career, Azharuddin scored more than 300 runs, and India won the match.Tendulkar was the leading run-scorer and had the greatest batting average in the 1996 Cricket World Cup, collecting runs continuously throughout the competition. He was the only batter to continually perform well in the semi-final, which India lost after he was dismissed. The other players’ failures led to India’s defeat, and Tendulkar was criticized for carrying the team’s burden alone. Nevertheless, his outstanding performance in the tournament and his consistent growth made him a crowd favorite, and his dismissal sparked protests from the spectators.

During Australia’s tour in 1998, Tendulkar continuously hit high-scoring centuries, establishing himself as one of the world’s best batsmen. Australia’s spinners, Shane Warne and Gavin Robertson, adopted aggressive tactics against him, always trying to get him out. This tour is remembered for the famous Test match in which India defeated Australia. After the successful match, Tendulkar scored two brilliant innings, including one in which he helped India win a match that had been considered lost. In the final match against Australia, he was mentally devastated after being dismissed by Shane Warne again. In the aftermath of the series, Warne joked that he was haunted by nightmares of Indian deities. Please translate this into Gujarati.

There was a great performance as well, in which the player took five wickets in a one-day match. The target to win against Australia was 310 runs, and they were comfortably playing at 203 runs with 3 wickets in 31 overs. Then Tendulkar scored 32 runs off just 10 overs and with wickets taken by Michael Bevan, Steve Waugh, Darren Lehmann, Tom Moody, and Damien Martyn, India won the match.

Tendulkar’s knock of 141 runs off just 128 balls helped India to win the semifinal match against Australia in the ICC 1998 quarterfinals. With four quick wickets taken by Tendulkar, India made a smooth path to enter the final. When Pakistan visited India for a cricket series in 1999, Sachin Tendulkar was questioned about his back issue. India fell to Pakistan in an amazing encounter that went down in history. Tendulkar’s father, Professor Ramesh Tendulkar, died during the 1999 Cricket World Cup, making things much more tough. However, he came back to play in the match against Kenya at Bristol and scored a century (101 off 140 balls) with aggressive play. He dedicated the century to his father.
